Camille Delcroix, grand gagnant de Top Chef 2018, devient coach dans la nouvelle saison d’Objectif Top Chef, qui débute ce lundi 22 octobre sur M6 avec Philippe Etchebest.Le gagnant de Top Chef 2018 revient sur M6 ce lundi 22 octobre pour une nouvelle saison d’Objectif Top Chef, avec Philippe Etchebest, dès 18h40 sur M6. Camille Delcroix intègre le programme, de retour après un an d’absence, en tant que coach. Tous les vendredis, les quatre candidats sélectionnés pour la finale de la semaine s’affronteront pour se qualifier pour la finale nationale. Pour cette ultime épreuve, ils seront épaulés par Camille Delcroix. Un rôle taillé sur mesure pour le jeune homme, qui connaît les exigences du chef, puisqu’il faisait partie de sa brigade dans l’émission. Le gagnant d’Objectif Top Chef intégrera d’ailleurs la brigade de Philippe Etchebest dans la prochaine saison de Top Chef. Que devient le jeune Nordiste depuis sa victoire du concours culinaire de la Six ?
C’est le chef Etchebest lui-même qui a proposé le nom de Camille Delcroix à la production : « C’est quelqu’un que j’apprécie beaucoup, on a de nombreux points communs ! », confie-t-il. Le principal intéressé envisage quant à lui cette aventure comme « un exercice complètement nouveau ». « J’ai pris le rôle du grand frère », détaille-t-il. Après sa victoire face à Victor Mercier, Camille est retourné travailler auprès de Marc Meurin au restaurant « Le Meurin », dans le Nord. Il a entièrement placé ses gains – 66 920 euros – et ne compte pas changer son mode de vie de sitôt. Depuis sa sortie de l’émission, il est resté très proche de certains candidats, notamment de Tara Khattar, Adrien Descouls et Vincent Crepel ! Il porte toujours autour du poignet son emblématique bracelet bleu-blanc-rouge, qui rappelle le col des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France. Son prochain objectif ? Le concours de Meilleur Ouvrier de France qui aura lieu dans quatre ans, en 2022.
